Last week we had a fun Christmas night at my parents. My mom bought Gingerbread house kits and the kids were excited to get to it. They ran circles around the counter as Emily, Jim & I tried to get the walls & roof to stay up. We ended up covered in icing, and stood and held the walls until they dried.
Then the kids had at it. Some candy ended up on the houses, some candy ended up on the floor and a lot of candy ended up in some very hyper kids tummies. It was a fun night and the kids have tasted some pieces of the house a little each day.

So fun, but I swear the parents always doing most the work because those darn gingerbread houses will not stand up. Who came up with this idea anyway right? ha ha
