Since there are very few days left in June, now would be a great time to get the My Craft Channel June Kit featuring the elegant Imaginisce Black Ice. Imaginisce kindly sent some papers my way and they were only on my scrap desk for two days before I cut into them. I was instantly picturing the black and white with a pop of bright color. I used hot pink this time but I think these papers would be fabulous with orange or mint as well.
I had this Lawn Fawn rose already colored and sitting on my desk from a previous project and it was perfect for this card. (I love when I plan ahead!) I used some vintage lace a friend gave me on this as well.
Do you love the little mini chalkboard on this card as much as I do? I designed these for the Pazzles Craft Room and they are one of my favorite files. I simply used the Inspiration pen tool to draw my image on black cardstock with a white pen. I used a bit of ink on a sponge to smudge white ink on the background for a chalkboard look.
