I've pretty much hated my couch cushions since the day we bought our couches, so 8 years later I decided to do something about it. (and yes-I do need new couches too) I sewed some new pillow slipcovers to cover the old flowery pillows and I love how they turned out. I was really happy with my first attempt at applique. It really wasn't that hard.
